During the period of a license, a licensee who changes their address or, being a corporation, its corporate identity, or the scope of its trade or business shall notify the Board no later than thirty days after such change of address, corporate identity or scope.
Documents required are based on the change to the licence. These changes are done via an amendment request to the Board on the relevant form and a $50 fee. The Trade & Business Licensing Board will review submitted amendments and make a decision accordingly.
Amendment applications may be made online at the time of a Trade & Business License renewal or, submitted at the DCI business licensing counter located on the ground floor of the Government Administration Building. Standard processing time for amendments is between two to four weeks.
Amendments to the licence, except in a way that has the effect of transferring or reassigning a licence may be approved by the Board.
