With all of this in mind, the DCI aims to provide you with the following:
1. Professional and friendly customer service – Our team will seek to provide you, the client, with
the utmost respect and best customer service possible. We will do this by ensuring we answer all
of your questions in a timely and prompt manner usually within 24-48hrs of receiving an online query.

2. Clear guidance on processes and services – Every person will be provided with clear guidance
on any application process that is offered by the Department. These include, trade and business
applications, liquor licenses, music and dancing licenses, tobacco applications, Special Economic
Zone licenses, Local Companies Control Law licenses (LCCL), cinema licenses, secondhand
dealer licenses, intellectual property queries and information on Designated Non-Financial
Business and Professions (DNFBP).
3. Prompt response times to feedback and complaints - We will ensure that you are kept informed
throughout the process and that your license or registration will be sent to you within the specified
timeframe as indicated through the various laws or policies that DCI is responsible for.
4. Confidentiality and privacy for all clients - All compliance, licensing and enforcement matters
will be handled with the utmost confidentiality, and professionalism. We will ensure that all matters
are handled within the remit of the laws that the DCI is responsible for.
5. Innovative access to services – Our team is committed to ensuring that we provide the latest
technology to assist you with any service that our Department is responsible for.
6. Compliance and regulation with all laws – Our business licensing, trade and compliance officers
will ensure that all functions of the law are upheld and adhered to. Our team is committed to
ensuring that our clients have the most up to date information on all laws that we are responsible
