Cayman Islands Liquor Licensing Board A Liquor License is a permit issued to a business licensed in accordance with the Trace and Business Licensing Law (2014). The Liquor Licensing (Amendment) Law, 2015 sets out the parameters and criteria for the process of Liquor Licenses and their application. The current law came into effect on 01 January 2016 and provides for a number of important components in the process. In particular, the amendment removed the previous moratorium in order for the Liquor Licensing Board to grant new liquor licenses. Additionally there are new requirements for grants, a grace period for renewal applications, provisions for Trade officer inspections, Board constitution and meetings and flexibility with opening hours for license holders.
